IQ Plus is on a mission to build brighter futures for children. We create expertly crafted, high-quality musical instruments that are designed to support children’s intellectual, emotional, and social development through the power of play and discovery.

Nurturing nature for generations

Proudly headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, we are committed to sustainability; using renewable plantation-farmed wood and eco-friendly practices in every step, ensuring a greener future.

Sustainably Harvested Wood

Our factory sources all wood from environmentally-friendly origins. While we primarily use sustainable Siam Oak from rubber plantations, we also ensure all imports come from responsibly managed forests. Our practices ensure no harm to wild forests or ecosystems.

Waste into Energy
All of the sawdust taken from our manufacturing processes is gathered at the end of each day and taken to processing mills, where it is turned into fuel to be used in local textile factories.
Scraps to Snacks
The pieces of rawhide leftover from making heads for congas, bongos, etc. are taken to manufacturing plants for dog chew toys to make rawhide bones and other toys for man’s best friend.
Play it Forward
The small pieces of plywood leftover from our manufacturing processes are used in producing other small instruments which are then donated to local impoverished children in rural provinces around Thailand. We make sure to utilize every last piece of wood to create something useful.

Over 15 years ago, a brother/sister duo – inspired by their musical upbringing, embarked on a journey to create a meaningful impact. Raised by musician parents, they grew up with values of creativity, harmony, and discipline, which shaped their vision for what would become IQ Plus: a brand built on the belief that quality instruments can do more than make music; they can help children grow, learn, and connect with the world around them. Today, their vision continues to blend craftsmanship, sustainability, and a deep commitment to nurturing the bright minds of future generations.
